Mouses and electricity

I’m missing – you may have noticed.

I’m on a screenwriting course that involves long days, about 12 hours, and that means that I have no time to blog. The course is only 2 weeks though so I will be back next week.

How tired am I?

Well, this was the conversation today:

Me: My mouse isn’t working…

I.T. (which is really R): Have you turned it off and on again?

I do this.

Me: Not working…

R: Call the I.T. department…

Me: Honey?

R: Okay…

He looks over the mouse and the keyboard. He turns it off and on again.

R: It’s wireless… Have you recharged it?

Me: Of course.

R: Where is the lead?

Me: Top drawer.

He pulls it out and puts it into the mouse.

Me: Oh…

R: Oh?

Me: I put it in the keyboard… Does it not do the mouse as well?

R: Huh?

Me: Jump between the two. Like lightening.

R: No.

I am going to blame the tiredness for this one.
