I am championing myself. I have a book fair at the end of the month and I am also giving a talk!
Yes, I’m petrified.
I’m doing the talk on my coping strategies about the dyslexia. How I write, what I write and just how I have been effected by the dyslexia.
I was told I would never write… But from an early age that is all I wanted to do, to tell stories. So I told them, all the time, to anyone who would listen. At the age of twenty four I was diagnosed with dyslexia and suddenly the world of the written word was open to me. Now I write from my workshop, which I call my shed, in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains. I’m writing my way out of dyslexia.
I will be telling my story and giving advice to others to do the same.
So if you are able please come and see me.
