Day 13 of Nanowrimo

Word Count – 10487

Status – Not sure

Plan – I’ve pretty much realised that I don’t work well to deadlines. Saying that though the book is coming along fine. According to the widget I have I won’t finish the 50k words until the 2nd January 2013… I don’t mind. There is so much I have to do and I can’t see the point of writing just for the word count. It has to be part of my book. The good news though is that Ash has had breakfast and is now on her way back to her home. Her guardian is being questioned by the police and he is digging himself into a large hole…

He must have known he was raising a serial killer…? Things are getting interesting.

  1. “I love deadlines. I love the sound they make as they go whooshing past” ~ Douglas Adams. I don’t work well with deadlines. They make me feel constricted and a bit panicky. I like the idea of a Nanowrimo, having a goal but I get too obsessed with the word count. Then it becomes more about “am I writing enough words” rather than “am I using the right words”. No thanks nanowrimo, no thanks.
