Sun is shining and…

it is a delightful day. Or rather month…

The screenwriting course was intense. I guess between that and the PhD I got a little burnt out. I am still here though.

News:

• I got a highly commended for ‘The King of Swansea’ with the New Welsh Writer’s Award which is amazing.
• We have kicked Simon Landry off the build and are looking for a roofer.
• R and I have managed to create the back garden and the veg patch. Only the front garden to go.
• R and I are slowly getting sorted. For the first time in a while I feel we have taken back some of what we lost in the build. I guess I feel empowered a little.
• I am loosing weight – I tend not to talk about weight on here, but I am on a doctor prescribed diet pill that is speeding up the process and so far I am 8kg down…

I’ll starting writing again soon but I need a bit of down time. Also new ideas are bubbling. I’ll keep you posted but I need a bit of a holiday – I will be back soon.
