Memorable moments…

I could do this for my whole life but this week has been insane, so I’m going to just use the week. And as I believe in getting the bad news out of the way first…

  1. On Thursday I ate a handful of nuts. I like nuts. So I really didn’t think anything of it. Ten minutes later when my face was swollen and I was having what I thought was an asthma attack I decided that I do not like nuts at all…

According to the doctor I have a tree nut allergy. Not peanuts, thank goodness. Did you know that peanuts are actually beans? Anyway, I now have to not eat nuts or any nut traces or anything that has touched a nut.

Apart from really missing biscuits I am doing okay.

  2. My ebook is live! Yes it is for sale… Or rather free until Friday and then for sale after that. There is also a paperback which is available in America, France and India, but not the UK so far.

  3. I have a shop for my ACEOs. And I have completed 3. Okay, I know 3 may not sound a lot but they are really fiddly to do being only 3.5 x 2.5 inches.

So, those are the three things that have happened in the last 7 days. I am still reeling about the allergy but happy about getting the business off the ground. I think it is going to be a long road though so wish me luck.

This post was inspired by the daily prompt – moments to remember.

  1. Thanks for sharing. Congrats on your e-book. I’ve been a medical writer for about 20 years. I wrote poetry when I was in my teens. I love to write. My blog saved me. Actually finishing a book will be an accomplishment for me, and then I hope to have it published. I will definitely check out your book.
