Painting – is it like riding a bike?

That was the question that flowed around my mind this afternoon.

I haven’t picked up a paintbrush in six years.

Today I did.

And the result is nowhere near finished but I am pleased. It looks like it will be a fairly decent painting… At least I hope it is going to be.

This will probably be called ‘The Cry’ and is about A3 size. I’m using water based oils, mainly because it is cold and I have no wish to open the window in order to ventilate the workshop.
