It’s about a serial killer. I didn’t think about the research involved when I decided on the plot but the research is huge! So to go with my book of chapters I have now a book of death. It sounds gruesome and it is. Each death my killer will perform is in this book.
I do use the term book loosely as it is actually a few A4 pages stapled together with a cover.
So my book of death has each death in order with a drawing of what it looks like, the motive and the MO, how the serial killer did it. Despite its gruesomeness I actually enjoyed writing it, to use my imagination to the limit to create new and distinctive murders that are going to be hard to solve. At the same time, in the back of my mind, is the simple fact that this is just the beginning.
Some of the book is in costume. I know nothing about costume… Actually I know nothing about police procedure. I have a feeling I’m going to need all nine months to complete this dissertation.
