This came from the paper this week.
This girl (she was only 14 when she died) was one of the first settlers in Jamestown who died between 1609-10. She was cannibalised by the other settlers. Have a look at this article – www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-22362831
This got me thinking about climate change, as the reason they had a problem was due to the winter that went on and on.
So I thought about now and our winter that isn’t stopping.
What if the same conditions happened here? Now?
I’m not sure if it will just be a dystopian/apocalyptic story or even horror/zombie but the idea is there and it is slowly growing. I have a feeling though that it will be a long story, maybe even a novella.
